ElevenBoss Privacy Policy
Effective date: 11 July 2026
This document describes how ElevenBoss (the “Bot”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our Discord bot. It is written for managers and server admins in plain language. It is not legal advice.
ElevenBoss is a Discord football-management game. This policy covers the Bot only — not Discord itself. Discord’s own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service also apply whenever you use Discord. See also our Terms of Service.
1. Introduction
When you register a club, join a league, play matches, or use slash commands and hubs (for example /development, /store, /squad), we process a limited set of Discord and game-related data so the Bot can run.
We do not sell your personal data.
2. Information we collect
Discord identifiers
- Your Discord user ID (stored as your club account key)
- Your Discord username (captured at registration so we can identify your club)
Information you provide
- Club name and manager name you enter during onboarding (shown in the game and in some embeds)
Server configuration (admins)
- Discord server (guild) ID
- League channel ID and announcement role ID, when an admin configures a league for that server
Game data
Progress and economy needed to run the game, for example:
- Player cards, squad and formation
- Coins, action energy, and related economy ledger entries
- Match history, league participation and stats
- Development activity (drills, fusion, evolutions, skill allocation, mentor transfers, and similar)
Operational data
- Short-lived match locks / match-run records used so matches complete reliably and can be recovered if something fails
- Application logs on our servers used for debugging and reliability (not sold or used for advertising)
What we do not collect
The Bot does not collect or store:
- Email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses
- Payment or credit card details
- Your IP address (we do not run our own login that captures IPs; Discord may process network data under its own policy)
- The content of ordinary server chat messages (we respond to Discord interactions and slash commands you use with the Bot)
- Third-party analytics / advertising SDKs
3. How we use data
We use this information to:
- Create and maintain your club account and squad
- Run matches, leagues, the marketplace, scouting, and progression / economy features
- Show leaderboards, profiles, and other in-game displays
- Send direct messages (DMs) when Discord allows it — for example level-reward claims, youth-intake notices, injury notices, and match recovery or error alerts
- Respond to support requests and investigate abuse or technical issues
- Keep the service secure and working
4. Legal basis (summary)
Where privacy laws require a basis for processing, we rely mainly on:
- Providing the service you asked for (registering a club and using the Bot)
- Legitimate interests in running a stable multiplayer game, preventing abuse, and fixing bugs
You can stop using the Bot and request deletion of your club data (see below). You can also disable DMs from server members / bots in Discord’s privacy settings if you do not want Bot DMs.
5. Sharing and processors
We share data only as needed to operate ElevenBoss:
| Party | Role |
|---|---|
| Discord | The platform you use; interactions and DMs go through Discord’s API |
| Supabase | Hosted database where club and game data are stored |
Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.
Hosting and ops may involve standard cloud infrastructure that stores or runs the Bot and database; game data lives in our Supabase project.
6. Retention
- We keep your club and game data while your account is active and needed to provide the game.
- Leaving a Discord server does not automatically delete your ElevenBoss club data.
- If you request deletion (or if we shut the service down), we will delete or anonymise personal data we hold about you, subject to any short retention needed for security, abuse prevention, or legal obligations.
- Operational logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for debugging and reliability.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.
Today there is no in-bot “delete my data” command. To request access, correction, or deletion of your ElevenBoss account data, contact us using the details in Contact.
When we delete a club account, related game records tied to that Discord user ID are removed with it (cards, squad, match history, and similar). Server-level league settings (guild configuration) are separate and are managed by server admins.
You can also:
- Change how Discord handles DMs and server membership in Discord’s settings
- Stop using the Bot and leave servers where it is installed
We may need to verify that the request comes from the Discord account that owns the club before we act on it.
8. Children’s privacy
ElevenBoss is intended for users who are allowed to use Discord under Discord’s Terms of Service. The Bot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has registered, contact us and we will delete the relevant data.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. For material changes, we will try to announce them in our Discord community when practical. Continued use of the Bot after an update means you accept the revised policy.
